A number of days each year are dedicated to calling attention to the importance of HIV and STD testing, coming out, gay rights, and other issues that are important to the LGBTQ community.
They provide good opportunities to create blogs, highlight a link to gettested.cdc.gov or another website, or invite users to take action to support our community.
